A spiritual director is a person whom we have chosen after prayerful consideration to accompany us, to hold us accountable, to encourage us, to challenge us and, when necessary, engage us in fraternal correction along our way of discipleship.
Our spiritual director helps us to notice God’s presence and activity in our life. He or she can encourage us to explore our personal reactions and responses to the Holy Trinity’s presence and activity within and around us.
A spiritual director will usually have some training in the ministry of direction. Sometimes, however, a director is simply a woman or man who has a reputation in the community of faith for being able to offer spiritual insight and counsel when asked to do so.
The first step is to schedule an It Is Well introductory phone call. During the call, we will get an idea of which life coach best suits your needs and objectives, as well as how well we work together. From there we can decide what your next steps should be from there.
We ask that you:
Make yourself a priority, get started on feeling great today!
Prayer – is the way in which we communicate with God and learn His plan for us.
Exercise - Find an exercise you enjoy and start doing it regularly.
Be grateful - Stop to think about the things you have going for you and appreciate them.
Get plenty of sleep - Sleep is regenerative for your body. The more sleep you get the better you will perform the next day.
Ground yourself - Literally. Plant your bare feet on the earth as often as possible.
Smile more - It feels great!
Spend more time with loved ones - In our busy lives we need to make time for the people who matter to us most.
Live your passion - Do more of what you love.
Meditate - Set some time aside each day to rest your mind.
Drink water – Water is essential to health – energizing cells and keeping all systems functioning properly.
Get outdoors more - Go for a walk and enjoy nature.
Eat plenty of greens - Dark leafy greens are rich in vitamins, minerals and chlorophyll. They help alkalize the body.
Physical, mental and spiritual wellness represents the trinity on which one ‘s overall health and well-being depends.
